Tyddyn Sachau is situated just outside the village of Y Ffor between Pwllheli and Caernarfon. Its latest innovation Caffi’r Tyddyn was officially opened Saturday 10th of July 2010 by Russell Jones, presenter of s4c’s Byw yn yr Ardd.

The Café has been built to the highest of standards. It is light and airy, seating up to 90 inside. The walls are adorned with stunning photographic shots available to buy. Its L shape has been put to good use as a more relaxed area for families.

There is a children’s menu and high chairs are available for young children. There is a corner with sofas and coffee tables too. If the weather is good then why not enjoy your refreshment on the patio area with up to 40 seats. Relax and drink in magnificent views of Snowdonia, Moel Hebog and the coastline as far as Porthmadog and Barmouth.

We have produced what we hope is an affordable, healthy menu based on home made food and fresh, local produce our ham is from Poveys Butchers. We serve Hufenfa De Arfon Llyn Cheddar and the bread is fresh daily from Warren Bakery.

The soup is homemade as is the Quiches and most of the cakes. We believe that you really can taste the difference.

Tyddyn Sachau Nurseries is a long established family run retail nursery and gardening centre. We hope Caffi’r Tyddyn will make our customers visit the Nursery even more pleasurable securing its future for the next sixty years.
